This program is part of Down Time. Inspired by Do-It-Yourself culture and the wealth of how-to resources on the internet.
Down Time is an eight-week presentation that explores free-choice learning and the pursuit of entertainment in our free time.
A series of yoga classes are taught side by side with video art; creating an immersive visual and yogic experience that activates and engages all the senses. Guided by video art curator and yoga teacher Julia Greenway, students engage in a stimulating and exciting yogic environment.
All video work is specifically curated to move with the sequence of yoga poses and overall flow of the class. Greenway is working alongside local, national and international video artists to curate 3 individualized reels that invoke a stimulating response in each students’ practice.
