Dyspnea is the medical term for “breathlessness”. It is a feeling often felt during hypnotic love or a traumatic event. This work attempts to recreate part of my ephemeral experience as a pedestrian in the Sonoran desert landscape.
This work manifests as a video, projected light, projected image on surface and a lenticular print. Each of the elements compliments the visual feeling ways in which light is understood through your eyes and affect your body. See Installation Views for an example.
